Elaine Doerfler, MS, CCC-SLP
Founder, Speech-Language Pathologist
Hi! My name is Elaine, and I have been a practicing speech-language pathologist for over a decade. For the past 13 years, I have had the privilege of serving individuals of all ages, from infants and children to adults and geriatrics.
I am skilled in stuttering, articulation, language, social communication skills, cognition, feeding, and swallowing. I’m passionate about what I do, and there’s no greater privilege than walking through a season of life with someone and helping them find, or regain, their voice and their ability to communicate.

As a mother of multiple children, some of whom have communication difficulties, I’ve seen firsthand how vital communication is. It shapes quality of life, builds connection, and strengthens relationships. This is why I do what I do and why I care so deeply about speech therapy.

I love the quote by Anne Morrow that brings together my love of coffee and my passion for communication. She says, “Good conversation is as stimulating as black coffee, and just as hard to sleep after.” That’s my goal. I want to empower people to communicate in a way that leads to lively, meaningful conversations with the people they love.

When I’m not at work, you’ll find me curled up in my rocking chair reading a good book and drinking coffee. I’m an avid fan of both Caribou and Starbucks, and I love a good caramel latte. Nature is therapy to me, and I enjoy taking evening walks with my husband and our two dogs. Our five kids range from a toddler to preteens and teenagers, so life is always interesting and exciting. We love spending time outdoors together, and when the weather gets too cold, we settle in for board games and movies.

Laikyn Pfeifle, MS, CCC-SLP
Lead Speech-Language Pathologist
Hello! My name is Laikyn, and I have been a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist for two years. I am licensed in both North Dakota and Minnesota, and I am certified through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
For the past 2 years, I have had the privilege of working with pediatric patients and am excited to use my skills and expertise to now support mothers as well, ultimately increasing the quality of life for both the infant and mother.

Through listening to mothers’ personal experiences in postpartum care, it has become clear that there is a need within our community for greater support in breastfeeding. I am passionate about creating a space where patients feel seen and heard, while maintaining a warm and welcoming environment. It is an honor to walk alongside infants and their mothers to provide compassionate support through their breastfeeding journey.

Outside of work, you can find me spending time with my family. In the warm months, I enjoy taking walks, and in the colder months, you can find me completing puzzles and playing games.

Katelyn Voll, DPT, Physical Therapist
Physical Therapist
Hello! My name is Katelyn. I’ve been a physical therapist for just over 5 years and am licensed in Minnesota and North Dakota. I received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of North Dakota in 2020.

During these past 5 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving communities in North Dakota, Minnesota, and even San Diego, CA, for a period of time. I’ve worked with a wide range of populations, including women’s health, pediatrics, neuro rehab, orthopedics, geriatrics, vestibular rehab, wound care, postoperative rehab, and more.

As a woman and physical therapy professional, I’ve experienced the healthcare system firsthand and know it’s not always comfortable or enjoyable. It can feel confusing with so much varying information and so many treatment options. Women’s health is my passion, and I’m dedicated to changing the way we provide individualized care.

I strive to offer a safe space for clients with the most up-to-date information, treatments, and options. Women’s health covers a wide range of diagnoses and stages of life. Physical therapy can support many symptoms and conditions, and I want to be a cornerstone in the Fargo/Moorhead region for any woman or client who needs it.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy time with friends, family, and my sweet golden retriever. Whether I’m outdoors camping, fishing, or hiking, or indoors curled up with a movie or a good book, nothing beats time with loved ones.

Abbey Marinucci, OTR/L
Lead Occupational Therapist
Hi! My name is Abbey Marinucci, and I am an occupational therapist licensed in both North Dakota and Minnesota. I have worked in pediatrics, supporting and educating families about their children’s development to help them feel confident as they navigate the highs and lows of parenting.

During my doctoral program, I completed a capstone project focused on identifying unmet needs within populations not typically served by occupational therapy. I immediately determined that women in their various transitions through life are an area that is underserved by the occupational therapy field.

In addition to my graduate work, I have seen, heard, and experienced the significant gap in healthcare for women, especially in the transition into motherhood. This includes adjusting to a brand-new identity as a parent and the complex responsibilities that come with it.

In my role at Myna Women’s Health, I’m truly excited to help bridge this gap in women's health care. I am committed to supporting, educating, and empowering women as they take on one of their most significant new roles of becoming a mother: breastfeeding. I look forward to being someone who will listen, educate, and empower women through their breastfeeding journey in a way that feels comfortable, supportive, and individualized to them and their child to increase their confidence in their role as a mother.

When I am not at work, I am a mother of two young children, enjoying that phase of my journey, which includes a lot of staying home, making snacks, and keeping up on the day-to-day "to-dos." I am excited to be alongside many of my clients I will serve as I am in the same phase of life as many of them will be.
